Allinson Bakers' Grade
Bread Flour sub-brand and packaging
Client:
Westmill Foods
Brief:
Elevate a number of the existing Allinson
range into a new improved "Bakers' Grade" category with
clear differentiation and the introduction of a bread maker image
to reinforce dual use of the product. After the success of introducing
the first black flour packaging a number of years earlier, Allinson
requested that we retain black as a key colour for this range.
Solution:
With a prescriptive brief, the outcome was
predictable, but never-the-less successful, achieving the necessary
balance between traditional baking and modern methods.
The "Baker's Grade" sub-brand was created to signal the
higher quality of the product to compete with Hovis' improved range.
The Allinson brand colours were utilised to create a simple badge
with a traditional feel.
